POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT Full Time - 2 Year( Approved by AICTE )

The programme is of two year duration. The Classes of 2008-2010 session will commence in July 2008. It is full time and non-residential. Students looking for accommodation have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging etc.

The minimum qualification of candidates seeking admission to the programme would be a Bachelor's degree in arts, Science, Law, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering or Technology from any recognised university or an equivalent degree or diploma.

In addition, the candidate must have appeared at any of the major national level management aptitude test such as CAT, MAT, XAT or ATMA.

Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they submit evidence of graduation within 90 days of the commencement of the session. Defaulters' admission would be cancelled. There would be no refunds.

Procedure for Admission

The information bulletin and the application form can be obtained from our office on the payment of Rs.900/- in cash or Rs.900/- by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, payable at New Delhi. The fee for prospectus and application shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

The application form can also be downloaded from our website (www.bulmim.ac.in) and the same will be accepted by the Institute on payment of a Demand Draft of Rs. 900 drawn in favour of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan payable at New Delhi.

Selection Process

1. The admission process comprises of the following stages:

1) Screening Test : Candidates have to appear in any one of the following:-

(a) CAT conducted by IIMs
(b) Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA
(c) ATMA conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS)
(d) XAT conducted by XLRI

2) Group Discussion and Personal Interview:

The final selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate's overall performance in the written test, group discussion and personal interview.

Fees

1. Annual Tuition fees (2009-2011): Rs.4.15 lakhs plus Rs.10,000/- security deposit (onetime payment, refundable). The other expenses if any, are on actuals.

2. The payment of fee would be as follows:
* Rs.1,15,000/- plus Rs.10,000/- at the time of admission offer to the students.
* Rs.1,00,000/- in first week of December Ist year.
* Rs.1,00,000/- in first week of July IInd year.
* Rs.1,00,000/- in first week of December IInd year.

*Fee includes tuition fee, cost of books and reading material. Laptop is currently provided to each student without any additional cost.

The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, an internationally reputed institution dedicated to the promotion of education and culture, is a charitable public trust founded by Dr. K.M. Munshi on november 7, 1938.

The founding members of the Bhavan include Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of the Republic of India, Shri C. Rajagopalachari , the first indian and last Governor General of India; Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of free India; Sardar Patel , Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, several distinguished scholars, statesmen and leaders of modern Indian renaissance.

From small beginning, the Bhavan has grown into a great intellectual, cultural and educational movement with 112 Kendras in India, 8 overseas Centres (in United Kingdom, United States of America, canada, Portugal, South Africa, Kuwait, Maxico and Australia) and 280 constituent institutions, besides a number of affiliated colleges.

Bhavan's Delhi Kendra was founded in 1950. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, first President of Republic of India, laid its foundation stone. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, first Prime Minister of Republic of India, formally inaugurated the Kendra in 1957.The Kendra is now housed in a complex of spacious buildings in a central locality in New Delhi. Its campus covers an area of 4.84 acres of land.
