The central aim of the programme is to equip the participants with a thorough grounding in the methodologies of conventional and digital photojournalism.

The importance of the electronic and print media in today's world has created a huge demand for professional photographers.

In the visual intensive media "Photojournalism" is acquiring an important place.

The role of photojournalists has grown many folds in collecting authentic information, reporting and providing news across multiple media.

Considering overwhelming demand of photographic input in media and its growth as an independent genre, Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Photo Division have launched the certificate course.
