Meet to discuss syllabus of proposed Srimanta Sankaradeva University

MORAN, Aug 2 – A leading organisation promoting religious literature and culture of North-east India, Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha is planning to establish Srimanta Sankaradeva University and start classes from 2010. A discussion and workshop on the syllabus and various courses under the proposed University is scheduled to be held on August 29 and 30 at Moran College. It is being organised by Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha in association with the regional committee of the body in Moran.

In a meeting held at Moran College recently, a reception committee was formed with Dr Anil Saikia as presidnet, Dr Pradip Hazarika vice-president and Dr Jatin Chutia as secretary. Two more sub-committees have been constituted. ASSAM TRIBUNE
