To obtain the form by post, send a request to the Department of Education (CIE),33 Chhatra Marg, University of Delhi, Delhi-110 007, mentioning the name of the programme (in the application, as well as, on top of the envelope) by the date specified above, along with: (1) A Bank Draft of Rs. 425/- (Rs. Four Hundred Twenty Five only) from a Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, and (2) a self-addressed envelope A-4 Size (29.5 cm x 21 cm). Candidates should retain a copy of the draft for making entries in the Application Form.

Completed Form to be submitted ONLY at the Department of Education (CIE), University of Delhi on all working days (including Saturday).

About University of Delhi
Delhi University was established in 1922 in Delhi, India. The university had very unpretentious start. There were only 3 colleges affiliated to the university then with two faculties and 750 students under the roof. It was established as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of then. The first convocation was held on March 26, 1923 in the presence of 750 invitees.

In 1933, all the offices of the university except central administrative office, examination offices and sports complex are shifted to room no. 13 of Viceregal Lodge Estate which is, till date, is a nucleus of the University. In 1947, when India got its independence, University celebrated its Silver Jubilee and national flag was hoisted on main building.
From last 75 years, University has grown exceptionally incorporating 14 faculties, 86 departments and 79 colleges which are spread across the city and thus forming one of the largest university in the country. It occupies over 220,000 students in both, North and South, Campus.

North Campus, as name suggest, is in the northern part of the city. It is well connected to Delhi Metro and the station is called ‘Vishvavidyalaya’ which means University. It is located at around 2.5 km from Vidhan Sabha. South Campus covers bigger area and offers various courses. Students who which to learn languages, Political Science and Commerce at masters level prefer this campus. There is separate procedure to get admission in South Campus.

Facilities offered by South Campus include Library, Canteen, Health Center, Bank, Computer Center, Transport, Student Activities and much more. Arts, Social Science, Medical Sciences, Science and Applied Science are the faculties that South Campus offers. Delhi University Library System (DULB) includes network of over 34 libraries. It offers web access and contribution to over 29 databases. DULB is consistently conducting information Literacy program for the benefit of students and researchers.
