Selection Process
Those who possess eligible educational qualifications and wish to join PGDMA, must apply for Joint Entrance Test - Agri-Business Management (JET-ABM) - 2011.

JET-ABM Test Procedure

Final Selection
The JET-ABM, 2011 would include the questions in the following areas:

1. Knowledge of Agriculture will have 40 questions covering the following areas;
General Agriculture
Agricultural Engineering
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
Fisheries
Food Sciences
Forestry
Horticulture

2. Quantitative Aptitude
will have 40 questions covering the subjects like statistics
and data interpretation

3. Logical Ability will have 40 questions covering the subjects like reasoning,
extrapolation, deduction etc.

4. Proficiency in English will have 40 questions covering the subjects like reading
comprehension, paraphrasing, sentence correction / completion, synonyms and
antonyms etc.

5. General Awareness will have 20 questions from the areas of current affairs, general
knowledge and elementary aspects of agri-business.

Examination Date of JET-ABM, 2011:27-March-2011

Duration of JET-ABM, 2011 will be of 2 hours with a total of 180 questions.

The right answer will be given one mark and wrong answer will be awarded -1/3 mark.

Final Selection:
JET-ABM -2011 result will be announced by on the JET-ABM website
(www.jetabm.gov.in).

Based on the scores of JET-ABM, 2011, short-listed candidates would be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The following criteria would be used for admission into PGDMAat NAARM:
JET-ABM Score (50%)
Group Discussion (20%)
Personal Interview (20%)
Academic Record (10%)

Final Placements:
The academy's placement cell provide support to the student for their final placement, which include printing and distribution of summer/placement brochure, preparing the students for interview through CV writing, group discussion, mock interviews etc. However, placement assistance is provided to make students employable and it must be clear that NAARM does not guarantee placement to any of the students.

Summer Internship:
The summer internship at the end of first year, will provide opportunities to gain first hand experience of business environment in industries and other institutions. Students will work on specific projects identified by industry/institutions and submit a detailed report at the end of the internship period. Securing and assigning summer internships is the responsibility of the Academy and the decisions of management in this respect would be final.
